Sangiovese Superiore di Romagna DOC 138 - Tenuta Masselina (13.5%)

A red wine from Tenuta Masselina, made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes selected and hand-harvested. It shows a deep ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose offers ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with spicy notes and a light touch of vanilla from ageing in barrique. On the palate it is solid yet harmonious, with silky tannins balanced by fresh acidity and a persistent finish of red fruit and aromatic herbs. It suits robust dishes such as roasts, game and aged cheeses, and benefits from decanting.
