Sap56 Maple Flavoured Whisky (75cl, 30.8%)

A Canadian flavoured whisky from Quebec, bottled at 30.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It combines whisky aged for five years with Grade A maple syrup, made from Quebec maple water over 56 days, which gives the brand its name. The base whisky has a mashbill of 85% corn, 10% rye and 5% barley, with each grain distilled and aged separately before blending. It uses natural ingredients only and contains 50% less sugar than traditional flavoured whiskies. The nose is gently maple-sweet with woody notes. The palate shows roasted maple, burnt sugar, chicory and black coffee bean, and the finish is long, with ginger, vanilla and cinnamon.
