Sassoalloro Oro Jacopo Biondi Santi

Sassoalloro Oro is a Toscana IGT produced by Jacopo Biondi Santi from vineyards in the heart of Tuscany. It is made mainly from Sangiovese and shows a deep, almost impenetrable ruby colour. The nose brings ripe red fruit, spice, and light hints of tobacco and chocolate from careful maturation in barrique. On the palate, power and balance coexist, with well-integrated soft tannins, a full enveloping body and a long, persistent finish of fruit and sweet spices. It suits rich, structured dishes such as roast meats, game and aged cheeses.
