Scallywag 10 Years Sherry Cask Matured (70cl, 46%)

Scallywag 10 Years is a blended malt made in a small batch from Speyside malts, among them Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in PX and Oloroso sherry casks, which bring a rich influence of chocolate, spice and fruit. The name and the fox terrier on the label come from the Douglas Laing family's fondness for the breed. The nose offers vanilla, dark chocolate and rich mocha. The palate has dark fruit, spice and dark chocolate, and the finish is long and subtle, with sherry influence.
