Scallywag Speyside Blended Malt (70cl, 46%)

Scallywag is a Speyside blended malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Its name and fox terrier label come from the Douglas Laing family's fondness for the breed, which they felt suited a richly spiced, sweet malt. The whisky was matured in Spanish sherry butts, which give it a deep, dark colour, along with used bourbon casks. It is typically described as spiced, with vanilla, stewed fruit, Christmas pudding, dark chocolate, zesty citrus and sweet tobacco.
