A 12 year old single malt from Scapa, the Orkney distillery built in 1885, in a one-litre bottle at 40% ABV.
This age statement was the core expression of the range during the Allied Distillers years, and it took the place of Tormore in their Caledonian Malts range. It was replaced by the 14 year old in 2004.
Scapa installed a Lomond still in 1959. The still remains in use today without its rectifying plates, and it is the only one of its type still producing Scotch whisky.
