A 16 year old unpeated single malt from Scapa on Orkney, bottled at 40%. It is matured in American oak and has a deep gold colour with amber highlights.
The nose is led by heather honey, vanilla cream and malted barley, with pear, apple, apricot and a coastal note of sea breeze. The palate is silky, with honeyed malt, vanilla fudge, caramel, baked apple and a little ginger spice. The finish is medium to long and softly sweet, with honey, vanilla, oak and a touch of sea air.
