Scapa 16 Year Old is a malt whisky bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands on Orkney, where a fragment recorded in 1701 points to a long tradition of distilling and drinking whisky.
It is golden, full-bodied and lightly sweet. The nose is round and velvety with a gentle smokiness, and lavender and other woodland plants sit in the background. The palate is strong and round, with tobacco, dried fruit and dark chocolate. The finish is extremely long and silky, with milk caramel.
