Scapa – Glansa Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Scapa Glansa is a single malt from the Scapa distillery on Orkney, and its first lightly peated bottling. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, produced in small batches. The whisky matures first in bourbon casks, then has a second maturation in casks that previously held peated whisky. The name Glansa means a bright, storm-filled sky. The nose offers exotic fruit, sweet honey, citrus, pear and soft smoke. The palate is soft and fruity, with sweet honey and peat smoke. The finish is long and fruity, with fine smoky notes.
