Secret Orkney 2004 is a single cask single malt from the Scottish islands, bottled by Whiskynerds in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is led by chalk, pickled lemons and green bananas, with muted sherry influence, a little gunpowder, flower honey and a faint earthy smoke. The palate arrives gently, with menthol, smoke, lemon peel, leather and honey, plus a salty note and a hint of cherry syrup. The finish keeps smoke, seaweed and mineral notes, with a touch of pepper.
