An 11 year old single malt from an undisclosed Speyside distillery, selected and bottled by Thompson Brothers at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 2011 and drawn in 2023 from a pair of refill sherry butts.
The nose opens with sweet barley and maltose, alongside a growing sulphur character and some raw seaweed. On the palate the sweet barley continues with hints of stone fruit, while the sulphur turns meaty and mineral. The finish carries a run of spices and zesty citrus.
