This is a 13 year old single malt from an undisclosed Speyside distillery, bottled by Fragrant Drops at 53.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured fully in a decharred and recharred hogshead, and the label carries a DC/RC motif that refers to the cask type.
The nose is honeydew melon, apple skin, banana, malt, grass, violet, and rhubarb and custard. On the palate come malt, apple, lemon zest, peach, plum, marzipan and nougat.
The finish brings violet, almond, lemon curd and lemon bon bons.
