Section 44 American Oak Cask is a Tasmanian single malt, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle.
The American oak brings sweet vanilla, toasted coconut and light caramel, alongside the richness of Tasmanian barley. It is described as smooth and approachable, with a honeyed character.
On the nose there is soft vanilla, honeycomb and fresh orchard fruits. The palate is creamy, with toffee, toasted oak and citrus zest, and the finish is clean and lingering, with a gentle oak spice.
