Section 44 American Oak is a Tasmanian single malt in a 70cl bottle, aged in American oak casks that previously held bourbon.
The ex-bourbon wood is described as adding vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, with a gentle spiciness of cinnamon and nutmeg. Hints of honey and maple syrup bring sweetness.
The mouthfeel is creamy and the finish long and smooth.
