Section 44 French Oak is a Tasmanian single malt whisky, sold in a 700ml bottle.
It is aged in small French oak barrels, which are described as adding vanilla, caramel, spice and toasted nuts, along with a hint of tannin.
On the palate it coats the mouth, with spiciness from the French oak, a good level of sweetness and balanced oak flavour.
