Serpara Aglianico del Vulture Superiore DOCG

Serpara is a red wine from Re Manfredi, made from Aglianico in the Aglianico del Vulture Superiore DOCG. The name refers to the estate's most prized vineyard, and the wine matures in French Allier barriques, which soften the grape's power. In the glass it is garnet red, with clear aromas of sweet spices and white pepper. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, with a long finish recalling ripe fruit. It pairs well with red meat, game and aged cheeses.
