Capricorn is a peated malted barley spirit from the Langatun distillery in the Swiss canton of Bern, released under the Seven Seals label. It is given a double ex-sherry cask finish and bottled at 49.7% ABV in a 50cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. It is a limited bottling and comes in a wooden box.
The nose is smoky, with sweet sherry fruit and fine malt. The palate is full and complex, with peat smoke, sweet sherry and spicy notes. The finish is long, balancing smoke and fruit.
