The Age of Libra is a single malt from Seven Seals, finished in rum wood. It belongs to the Zodiac series, which is bottled in batches of 365 bottles at 49.7% ABV and presented in a wooden box. Seven Seals whiskies spend at least three years in wood, matured by the company's own patented method.
The nose combines cherry blossom, rye, aloe vera and young liquorice, with vanilla, medlar and apricot. The palate is velvety and sweet, with vanilla, ripe medlar and juicy apricot. The finish is soft, long and warm, with cocoa, essential oils and a little light smoke.
