The Age of Pisces is an unpeated single malt from the Zodiac line by Seven Seals, named for the star sign of Pisces. It is bottled at 49.7% ABV in limited batches of 365 bottles.
The whisky spent time in three types of wood, including bourbon casks, and has a double Oloroso finish. Seven Seals uses its own patented method to speed up maturation, and its whiskies spend at least three years in wooden casks.
Figs, dried fruit and nuts come through on the nose. The long finish brings subtle oriental spices, fine vanilla and a hint of dark chocolate.
