Seven Seals The Age of Virgo is a Swiss single malt from the Zodiac series. It has a double Pedro Ximenez sherry finish, and Sauternes also features in its finish. The character is pleasantly smoky with warming spice. It is released in an edition of 365 bottles.
The nose combines winey notes, red berries, dried figs, and vanilla with creme brulee. The palate keeps the berry notes, adding citrus and a little vanilla and caramel. The finish is gentle and medium in length, with fine cane sugar.
