This is a 14 year old Speyside single malt bottled by the independent bottler Watt Whisky of Campbeltown. The distillery is not named. It matured in a refill hogshead, sherry octaves and bourbon casks, with 2.5 years in the sherry octaves. It is bottled at 55.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and only 330 bottles were filled.
The nose is spicy sherry with dark plums, a touch of ash and dried fruit. The palate is velvety and full, with baked plums, fine oak spice and chocolate. The finish is long and warming, bittersweet, with some smoke.
