A 12 year old Clynelish from Signatory Vintage, distilled in 2013 and bottled at 57.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is Batch 1 of the 100 Proof releases.
The whisky was matured in Oloroso sherry and new wood casks.
The nose combines lemon, orange, honey, beeswax and vanilla with spicy oak, a maritime hint and a little raisin. The palate is full-bodied and creamy, with salted orange, honey, malt, nuts, plum and sherry. The finish is long, with citrus, cinnamon, wax and a touch of sea salt.
