This Edradour No.2 8 Year Old was bottled by Signatory Vintage to mark Andrew Symington's 40 years in the whisky industry. It was one of two Edradour releases made for the occasion in 2026.
The whisky was distilled in 2018, the year the No.2 distilling facility began production, and was matured entirely in first-fill Châteauneuf-du-Pape red wine hogsheads.
The nose brings ripe cherries, dark berries, floral honey and vanilla, with hints of orange and oak. The palate is full-bodied, with berries, toffee and slightly bitter dark chocolate, plus pronounced peppery spice and oak. The finish is long, with caramel sweetness and dry oak spice.
