Signatory Vintage Small Batch Edition 13 Secret Speyside is an 11 year old Speyside single malt, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024 at 48.2% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
It matured in first-fill hogsheads that previously held Italian Bolgheri red wine, giving a profile of orchard fruit, berries and oak spice.
The nose brings ripe red apples and dark berries with vanilla, cardamom and anise. The palate is rich and fruity, with baked apple cake, vanilla custard and cinnamon. The finish is long and sweet, with apple compote and warming spice.
