Singleton of Dufftown 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40%. It is a deep amber to burnt orange in colour and medium bodied, with a mouth-coating texture.
The nose is slightly spicy and drying, with toffee apples, honeycomb, ripe autumn fruits, red berries, malt and golden syrup. Water brings out a waxier note, with sweet chestnut, glace angelica and a whiff of smoke. The palate is sweet at first, then dry, with malty, oaty notes and fresh fruit salad. The finish is drying, with pears, digestive biscuits and a little aniseed.
