Singleton of Dufftown Andalucia Reserva Moscatel Wine Cask Finish

Singleton of Dufftown Andalucia Reserva is a Speyside single malt finished in casks that previously held Moscatel wine from Montilla-Moriles in Spain. The casks were chosen by Jim Wilson, master of malts, and the finish adds a fine, winey sweetness to the malt. The nose is ripe apricot and peach with golden honey and a little vanilla. On the palate, lively orange and delicate floral notes sit over a velvety texture of vanilla and runny honey. The finish is long, with orange zest and a light floral touch.
