Slyrs Bavarian Single Malt is a German whisky bottled at 51% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is a cuvée matured in the usual casks together with casks that previously held port, sherry or Sauternes.
The nose combines prunes, roasted chestnuts, moss, spruce and a hint of chocolate. On the palate come tart herbs, cloves and a fresh, nutty character. The finish is long, intense and slightly dry.
