Slyrs – Oroloso Cask

Slyrs Oroloso Cask is a single malt whisky that is matured first in new oak casks and then given a further 12 months in old sherry casks. The sherry casks add a nutty note, and the whisky has a honeyed colour. Tasting notes describe a nose of dried fruit, nuts and a light balsamic touch. The palate is robust, with dried fruit, tobacco, leather, roasts and a hint of sweetness, leading to a smooth, long finish.
