Slyrs Fifty-One is a Bavarian single malt from Germany, bottled at 51% in a 70cl bottle.
It is a cuvée, matured in the usual casks as well as casks that previously held port, sherry or Sauternes. The aroma is strong, with a light smoky note and a fresh nose.
The colour is a darker golden yellow. Expect prunes, roasted chestnuts, moss, spruce and a hint of chocolate on the nose, then tart herbs, cloves and nuts on the palate. The finish is long and intense, slightly dry.
