This is the first Marsala cask finish released by the Slyrs distillery at Schliersee in Germany. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and has no added colour.
The finish was made in Superior DOC Marsala casks from Sicily.
The nose is fruity, with stewed ripe red berries and dried plums. The palate is fruity and spicy, with red berries, ripe plums, light vanilla and a touch of oak, and hints of barley and citrus beneath. The finish is long, with sweet raisins.
