Slyrs is a Bavarian single malt, and this is Batch L0496, finished in Oloroso sherry casks. It pairs German malt with the warm, raisin-like depth of Spanish sherry.
The nose is soft but distinct, with dried fruit, figs, almonds and light caramel. The palate is full and round, with chocolate, walnuts, honey, orange marmalade and a clear sherry sweetness, while the fresh malt stays present. The finish is medium to long, with spice, cocoa and a dry sherry touch.
