This is a single malt from the Slyrs distillery in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps, finished in Amontillado sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The finish in Amontillado casks adds depth to the whisky. It is bottled without chill filtration and without added colour.
The nose offers fruit, dried fruit and a fine hint of nuts. The palate is velvety, with caramel, almonds and light sherry influence. The finish is long and spicy, with a touch of oak and dried fruit.
