A Bavarian single malt from the Slyrs distillery at Schliersee, made from Bavarian summer barley and mountain spring water. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, with no added colouring.
The whisky spends three years in new American white oak casks. The distillery was founded in 1999 by Florian Stetter.
The nose is intense, with apricot and orange peel alongside fresh ginger and caramel. The palate is elegant and noticeably sweet, with marzipan and walnuts. The finish is long, with warming cinnamon spice.
