Slyrs Classic is a Bavarian single malt from the Slyrs distillery in Neuhaus am Schliersee, bottled at 43% in a 35cl bottle. It is an original bottling and is chill-filtered.
The whisky matures in new American white oak casks, which contribute to its vanilla and caramel notes. The distillery uses Bavarian barley malt and mountain spring water.
The nose is intense and layered, with apricot, orange peel, fresh ginger and caramel. The palate is sweet and structured, with marzipan and walnut. The finish is long, with spicy cinnamon.
