SLYRS – Single Malt Whisky Port Cask Finish

This is a Bavarian single malt from the SLYRS Distillery in Upper Bavaria, finished in Tawny Port casks. It is made from Bavarian barley malt and double distilled in small copper stills. The whisky first matures in new American white oak, then takes an additional finish in selected Tawny Port casks, which adds colour, depth and fruit. Dried red berries and dark fruits sit alongside caramel, vanilla, delicate honey and warming spice. The palate is rich and rounded, with the distillery's malt and oak character, and the finish is smooth and lingering.
