This is the 2026 Kilnaughton Xmas Edition, a peated single malt bottled at cask strength for McNeill's Choice. It is the third year running that an ex-bourbon single cask, number 306916, has been given further maturation for this release.
The whisky was first matured in a historic PX cask, 30 to 40 years old, and then moved to an acacia wood octave that had previously held a rum-based spirit. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
