A California wheat whiskey from Sonoma Distilling Co., made from 80% wheat grown in California and Canada and 20% malted rye from the UK. It was aged for three years, then finished for six months in Cognac barrels, and bottled at 46.1% ABV.
The Cognac finish adds fruit and richness to a soft, grain-led base.
On the palate it is described as butterscotch, light brine, English toffee, vanilla and citrus.
