Southern Star Paragon is a wheated bourbon from Southern Distilling, bottled in bond at 100 proof (50% ABV).
It is sweet, with a range of floral notes and a rich, silky texture, and the colour is a vibrant dark amber.
On the nose it is sweet and floral. The palate is calm and silky with a rich caramel character, and the finish is balanced and soft, closing on ripe apple and dried apricot.
