Southern Star Paragon Wheated Straight Bourbon

Southern Star Paragon is a wheated straight bourbon from Southern Distilling, dark amber in colour and soft but rich in texture. It has a little bite to it, and is described as best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, though it will also work in a cocktail. The nose is sweet, with fruity and floral notes and ripe apple. On the palate come vanilla, chocolate, honey and a hint of walnut, with fruit running underneath. The finish is balanced and soft.
