Southern Star Paragon is a cask strength, single barrel wheated bourbon from Southern Distilling, with a vibrant, dark amber colour and a rich texture. It is spicy and refined, with woody, herbaceous and peppery notes balanced against sweet mint, cardamom and vanilla bean. The nose brings sweet mint, vanilla bean and cardamom. On the palate there is vanilla, honey and subtle hints of walnut, and the finish is balanced, with dried stone fruit and a bold, lingering end.
