This is a 2009 Speyburn single malt from Speyside, bottled by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail as part of its Connoisseurs Choice series. It matured for 11 years in a first-fill sherry butt and was bottled in April 2021 at 46% ABV.
The nose offers toffee apples, brown sugar and stewed raisins. On the palate come summer berries, pomegranate, white pepper and autumnal spices.
