Speyburn 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It spent 18 years maturing in American and Spanish oak casks and has a dark golden colour.
The nose is sweet, with toffee, sugared almonds and tropical fruit, followed by caramelised sugar, candied apple and a little honey. On the palate come creamy dark chocolate, toffee, gentle oak spice and a touch of citrus. The finish is long and slightly smoky, with a bittersweet edge.
