This is a Speyside single malt from Speyburn, finished in casks that previously held rum and bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
Speyburn draws on the soft waters of the Granty Burn. The rum cask finish adds a mellow sweetness and tropical fruit character to the malt.
On the palate there is orchard and tropical fruit with honeyed malt and a gentle rum-cask sweetness. The finish is soft and lightly sweet.
