This is an 18-year-old Speyside single malt, bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of its 100 Proof Exceptional Edition #17. It was distilled in 2008, matured in first fill Oloroso sherry butts and bottled in 2026 at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle.
It is bottled without colouring and without chill-filtration. The sherry casks bring figs, dates, orange, dark chocolate and spicy oak.
The nose offers ripe figs, juicy orange, intense Oloroso sherry and dark chocolate. On the palate there are dried dates and figs with spicy oak and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is long, with black tea, brown sugar, dry spice and dark chocolate.
