Spirit Thief Distilling Co. – Cabernet and Shiraz Matured Single Malt Whisky (50cl)

This is a Tasmanian single malt from Spirit Thief Distilling Co., in a 50cl bottle. The distillery began as an exploration between whisky and wine, and has matured malt whisky in ex-red wine barrels for a few years. It is part of the Curated Wine Barrel Collection and was matured in ex-Cabernet and ex-Shiraz wine casks, taking character from both grape varieties. It is described as combining dark berry fruit with rich spice and malt flavours.
