This is a 10 year old single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, bottled as batch 24/20. It is a pale gold whisky and a newer version of the ten year old, with more finesse and sweetness than the one before it. The nose is typical of the distillery, with strawberry, citrus, apple and vanilla. The palate is lively and spicy at first, then moves to green malt, coconut and ripe pear. The finish is salty and bittersweet, with a floral rose note and a slightly oily, oaky edge.
