This is Batch 25 of the Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength, a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 57.2% ABV.
The whisky matured in a combination of 70% ex-bourbon and 30% ex-sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The bourbon casks are reflected in vanilla, caramel and oak, while the sherry casks add dark fruit and a gentle sweetness.
