This is Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength, Batch 29, a Campbeltown single malt. It was twice distilled, lightly peated and matured for the full twelve years entirely in ex-bourbon casks.
It was bottled on 21 January 2026 at 56.6% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour. Springbank is one of three working distilleries in Campbeltown and carries out every stage of production on site, from floor malting to bottling.
The nose combines sea salt, dried banana, granola and lemon zest with gentle smoke, then grapefruit syrup, orange pith, cocoa and glazed cherry. The palate is thick and oily, with wet stone, sea breeze, honeyed malt, vanilla and bourbon wood spice late on.
