This is Springbank 12 Years Old, a single malt from the Campbeltown distillery on the Kintyre peninsula. It is a limited edition distillery bottling, released in 2025 as Batch 28, in a 70cl bottle at 55.5% ABV.
The whisky was matured entirely in bourbon casks. Springbank was founded in 1828 by the Reid family and was the fourteenth distillery to be documented in Campbeltown.
