Springbank 15 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt and one of the most sherry-driven expressions in the distillery's core range. The 2026 release is matured entirely in sherry casks.
A gentle peaty, smoky character sits alongside the sherry. Springbank distils 2.5 times and uses traditional floor malting, both part of the distillery's reputation among whisky drinkers.
The nose offers cured meat, barbecued beef jerky, clove, mint, iodine and stewed prunes, with a rich savoury note. The palate is full-bodied, with soot, tobacco, prunes, walnuts and figs, then Demerara sugar, cocoa and smoked meats. The finish is long, with soot, leather and walnuts.
